Pre GCR tests 2 (balanced variable) - added 14/07/05 - no preconditioning, no vertical filtering.
Pre GCR tests 3 (balanced variable) - added 25/07/05 - no preconditioning, vertical filtering with first three modes only.
Pre GCR tests 4 (balanced variable) - added 26/07/05 (updated 10/08/05) - no preconditioning, vertical filtering with first mode only.
Pre GCR tests 5 (balanced variable) - added 27/07/05 - preconditioning, vertical filtering with first mode only.
