Badminton

There is a department badminton ladder, which anyone is welcome to join. Winning either a singles and doubles match will win points on the badminton ladder, and it's the points that determine the placing on the badminton ladder. No points are lost for losing matches. The points system is fairly complicated but is designed so that the difficulty in winning points through doubles matches is comparable with that of singles matches.

If people are keen for a badminton tournament to happen they can either run one themselves or let Marc know that they'd be interested in a singles or doubles tournament and it might happen.
