Videowall

The Reading e-Science Centre operates a touchscreen videowall facility for scientific data visualization, exploration and presentation. Installation was completed in Spring 2014 and the facility is now available for use, free of charge to the scientific community.

Demonstration

To get an idea of the capabilities of the videowall, please see the short YouTube video below, or download this poster (PDF, 7.2MB). This demonstrates using the multitouch interface to explore high-resolution imagery, 3D landscapes and cityscapes and multiple datasets simultaneously, using a variety of off-the-shelf and custom-developed software.
