How to find the University

The University of Reading is in a prime location in the South-East of England and has excellent transport links.  The University is close to the M4 motorway allowing easy access by car.  Reading's railway station has high speed links to and from London Paddington, as well as regular services to and from other cities around the UK.  There are direct services to and from both London Heathrow and London Gatwick Airports.

Finding the Meteorology Department

The Department of Meteorology is near the Earley Gate entrance of the Whiteknights campus, which is about a mile and a half from the centre of Reading, on the southern side.

Sat-Nav users should use the postcode RG6 7BE to get to the Earley Gate entrance

There is a number 17 bus service approximately every 10 minutes from Bus Stop EO on Blagrave Street which takes you to the Three Tuns terminus near the Earley Gate entrance.
