REMI TAILLEUX's SOFTWARE PAGES

I have been developing software that people may find useful, and which I am freely distributing. One category is related to thermodynamics of seawater, and is intended to be used for water masses analyis, based on the use of this exciting new quasi-neutral and quasi-material new density variable, called thermodynamic neutral density or GammaT, which aims to replace Jackett and McDougall (1997) neutral density. In time, these will also include new methods to compute the spiciness of fluid parcels. The second category is concerned with the computation of APE theory in the oceans. The third category concerns the accurate computations of QG normal modes based on a Chebyshev spectral methods, which are much more accurate than commonly used second order finite difference methods, which is what I have been using in most of my papers so far. The library is currently in construction, but hopefull, software that you'll want to be using will soon be available.
