- Boundary-layer clouds - what are their macrophysical, microphysical and radiative properties, and how well are these
represented in numerical models?
- Ice and mixed-phase physics - how do mixed-phase clouds form and persist in the atmosphere? When is aggregation an important
process for the evolution of the ice phase, and how can we quantify it?
- Convective clouds - what determines the formation and evolution of convective clouds, and can we improve its representation in
numerical weather prediction models?
