Performance of hybrid model
- An old report of Colin's showed performance compared with re-analysis
and observations was:
UKESM AMIP N96 < UKESM-hybrid AMIP N216 N96 < UKESM AMIP N216
- For the same resources, hybrid resolution is about 65% faster
than running
everything at high resolution
- ~55% atmosphere nodes for Snr & 45% nodes for Jnr
- We want faster than this!
