CME Profile Comparison Datasets

This page proivdes the time-elongation profiles of Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) tracked in the STEREO Heliospheric Imagers, along the ecliptic plane. The profiles are taken from three different catalogues, each generated with different methods: The Solar Stormwatch CME catalogue; The RAL-HI Event List; and the J-Tracker catalogue. This data was used in the analysis included in our article Differences between the CME fronts tracked by an expert, an automated algorithm and the Solar Stormwatch project, in which each dataset is described fully.
