Method reminder

  1. Add any new observations or corrections in the left-hand column below.
  2. After making any changes in this column run the quality control option at the foot of the page.
  3. If the QC comments (shown in red in the right hand column) suggest a change is required then
    make it to the left hand column and re-run the quality control
  4. Repeat step 3 as often as required until
  5. Then you can use the Add new/corrected data into the database option to do just that.

Note that the QC should:

  1. reject any extreme values deemed to be widely erroneous, eg. air temperature of 50C or rainfall
    of 300 mm
  2. flag any values close to or exceeding climatological values for the month
  3. flag inconsistencies - eg. dry bulb > maximum temperature
