LondUM
LondUM is a specific set-up of the Met Office Unified Model version 6.1 for London. It uses the Met Office Reading Surface Exchange Scheme (MORUSES) to parametrise the urban surface energy balance. The domain is 100km x 100km with a horizontal resolution of ca. 1km. It uses urban morphology data derived from Virtual London. The model was run from May until September 2006 and December 2006. A more detailed description of the set-up can be found in Bohnenstengel et al(2013). The following variables are available:- surface sensible heat flux
- surface latent heat flux
- ground heat flux
- net short wave radiation
- net long wave radiation
- screen temperature
