Uncertainties of derived surface fluxes are from uncertainties of

• TOA radiation flux uncertainties which have been estimated by Allan et al. (2014)
• Total column energy divergence uncertainties which will be estimated here using four mass corrected divergences from atmospheric reanalysis: ERA-Interim (ERAINT), ERA40, ERA20C (ERA-CLIM project) and MERRA.

NOTE:

• This is before land adjust, so mean surface fluxes may not close to zero.
• You cannot see difference from the mean plot with/without land flux constrain.
• Mean plot over 2001-2008 shows similar pattern.
