Quicklooks of Chilbolton 94-GHz cloud radar data

This page contains quicklooks from the vertically-pointing 94-GHz Galileo cloud radar at Chilbolton, England. The corresponding data can be found at the British Atmospheric Data Centre in NetCDF format (you will need to register). To read this data you may find the programs on our software page useful - please also read the documentation.

Missing data (including missing days in the list below) indicates either that the radar was scanning (it was mounted alongside the dish of the 3-GHz weather radar at Chilbolton until October 2000) or that the raw data were corrupted for some reason. In addition to the individual daily PNG images, monthly tar archives of images can be downloaded by clicking on the All links below.
