Final Round Squash Night on 13th March

Anyone going on holiday etc. may obviously need longer, but it'll be helpful if all games are played as soon as possible

Squash Night takes part from 5:20pm to 10pm on Thursday the 13th March. As many final round matches as possible will be played on this evening on courts 1 and 2, so it's a chance to see everyone else play and experience what it's like to have other people watching you. Players who are missing an opponent for the evening will be provided with some friendly opposition instead. The players page indicates who can make it.

Games will be the best of five, and do not count to the squash ladder. The official rules for the very keen (I've not read them) can be found on the World Squash Federation page.

Games will be arranged between the players involved, and the results should be written up on the noticeboard.

Figurine in bad shorts.

A list of players and fixtures is provided on both the noticed board in the coffee room and on these web pages.

The draw was made on the 14th November. The eight players highest on the departmental squash ladder were drawn in positions 1 to 8. The next 7 plus from one player from outside the ladder, of a similar standard, were drawn in positions 9-16, and the remaining players were drawn in positions 17-32.

Hope you enjoy it.

Cheers, Marc (marc@met.rdg.ac.uk)
