Anyone going on holiday etc. may obviously need longer, but it'll be helpful if all games are played as soon as possible
Games will be the best of five, and do not count to the squash ladder. The official rules for the very keen (I've not read them) can be found on the World Squash Federation page.
Games will be arranged between the players involved, and the results should be written up on the noticeboard.
Figurine in bad shorts.
A list of players and fixtures is provided on both the noticed board in the coffee room and on these web pages.
For the final round I've block booked courts 1 and 2 from 6:40pm to 10pm on Thursday the 1st November. Inevitably not everybody will be able to make it. However, if your opponent in the tournament can't make it then we'll find someone of a similar standard who can play you, i.e. everyone in the tournament who wants to play squash on Squash Night will. A list of who can and cannot make Squash Night is provided on the players page.
I'd appreciate if everyone could complete their penultimate round by at least the 25th October, which will give me a week to sort out exactly who can play and sort out a schedule for the nights games.
Any future event will probably be run differently after our experiences with this event. So please let me (marc@met.rdg.ac.uk) know what you think about this tournament and any ideas for what we should change.
Hope you enjoy it.
Cheers, Marc (marc@met.rdg.ac.uk)
