Knowledge Exchange at Reading

For 2 days a week I am funded by the Natural Environment Research Council as the Knowledge Exchange Fellow for the University of Reading.
My focus is linking the cutting edge research carried out in the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences with industry and in particular the financial services sector.

MSc Industry Presentation Day - Tuesday 5th July 2011

This year we have had several topics suggested by various sectors including reinsurance/insurance and energy.
On the afternoon of the 5th July we will have the MSc presentations from projects that are partnered with particular companies and those which have been identified as of interest to the different sectors.
There will be an extended break during the presentations for researchers and industry to discuss results and future work. We hope the event will give you an opportunity to suggest future research projects.
