SWAMMA: Saharan West African Monsoon Multi-scale Analysis

SWAMMA is a project based at Leeds and Reading Universities which aims to examine how the west African climate, and specifically dust and cloud over the Saharan Heat Low and the Monsoon Intertropical Discontinuity, respond to different resolution in models and to parameterized vs explicit convection.
