Research Interests:

  • Extratropical cyclones;
  • Jet streams;
  • Mid-latitude, synoptic, and atmospheric dynamics;
  • Global circulation and teleconnections;
  • Climate change and future projections;
  • Climate model biases.

Current Research Projects:

  • Process-based understanding of model biases in eddy-mean flow feedbacks;
  • Tropical-extratropical atmospheric teleconnections on sub-seasonal and seasonal timescales.

Past Research Projects:

  • Extratropical storm tracks in the CMIP5 models: biases and future changes.
