Research Projects:

  • Moving Meshes for Global Atmospheric Modelling : A joint 3 year, 6 FTE project between Reading, Bath and Imperial College to develop moving mesh methods for global atmospheric modelling
  • Gung Ho : The UM Dynamical Core project. Joint project between the Met Office, 6 Universities and the Science and Technologies Facilities Centre to design and build the dynamical core of the next UK weather and climate forecasting model.
  • Adaptive Mesh Modelling of the Global Atmosphere. NERC Advanced fellowship to investigate the use of adaptive meshes and mesh refinement criteria for global atmospheric modelling.
