NOTE: The 35 GHz CLOUD RADAR IS CURRENTLY POINTING AT 45 DEGREES ELEVATIONClouds will appear to be a factor 1.4 higher than they are, and Doppler velocities will contain a component of the (zonal) horizontal wind.
These images are generated every 15 minutes from data recorded by the 35-GHz Copernicus cloud radar at Chilbolton, using programs written by Robin Hogan, Darcy Ladd and Gareth Davies. For more information contact Robin Hogan.
