The Radar Group is situated at the Department of Meteorology, University of Reading. The group has access to the largest steerable meteorological radar in the world, which is located at Chilbolton in Hampshire. Many aspects of the microphysics of clouds and precipitation are being explored, and the Doppler capability of the radar is being used to study mesoscale dynamics. Chilbolton is also involved in a number of field experiments. Please browse through our web site using the button-bar on the left, and contact us if you have any queries or comments.
