Rapidly deepening but only because moving close to parent low (throughout
MSA period no 1hPa closed isobars)
Fast moving (29ms-1). Dimensions 1,500Km from imagery
Pronounced dry intrusion in MSA which may have been captured in
FUS by LEAR flight.
Emerging cloud head in MSA period.
Primary cold front changes from rearward to forward sloping in
V strong 900hPa winds (40ms-1).
Low level vorticity strip at early stages.
-ve 300hPa PV anomaly covered by MSA flight tracks.
T+24,48,72 forecasts good.
