To enable Firefox to make multiple passes through the ECMWF animations, follow these steps. Note: These instructions need be followed only once.

1. Type "about:config" in the Firefox location bar.
2. In the resulting window, type "image.animation_mode" in the "Filter" field.
3. Double-click on the line that shows "image.animation_mode".
4. In the resulting dialog box, enter "normal" and press "OK".

All text in quotations should be entered without the quotations.
You will not need to restart your browser for this change to take effect.

To return to the default setting, follow steps 1-3 above, but substitute "once" for "normal" in step 4.
